Where the Money Goes:

 

Absolutely 100% of all donations will go directly into a scholarship that will help one young Texan achieve their college goals. This scholarship is provided entirely through donations, so your help is much appreciated. If you are a member of the RHS Class of 2014, we urge you to donate whatever you can, even if it is just $5, so that we can leave this wonderful legacy at RHS. If you are a private entity who just wants to chip in, we thank you tremendously.

 

For Businesses:

 

What better a way to give back to the community than by helping a young person achieve their education? We welcome donations from local and national businesses who seek to improve their communities through charitable work.

 

We currently have 3 donor levels for interested businesses:

Hipshot Donors: this designation belongs to donors who have donated $250 or more to the scholarship fund. All “Hipshot Donors” will have their company logo displayed on the award certificates given to the scholarship recipient(s) and will be publicly thanked when scholarships are presented.

Truly Texan Donors: this designation belongs to donors who have donated $500 or more to the scholarship fund. All “Truly Texan Donors” will have their company logo displayed on the award certificates given to the scholarship recipient(s), will be publicly thanked when scholarships are presented, and will be featured as a Truly Texan Donor on this website.

 

Silver Spur Donors: this designation belongs to donors who have donated $1,000 or more to the scholarship fund, thus providing a full scholarship to one deserving student. All “Silver Spur Donors” will have their company logo displayed on the award certificates given to the scholarship recipient(s), will be publicly thanked when scholarships are presented, will be featured as Sliver Spur Donors on this website, and will receive a thank you plaque from the scholarship committee as well as a thank you letter from the student whose scholarship was funded by the donation, which may be displayed in the donor’s place of business.
