Who We Are:

We are the W.B. Ray High School Class of 2014 and we are leaving a legacy here at the school we love by helping future Texans to achieve their educational goals. Each year we will give a scholarship of $1,000 to a graduating RHS senior that has demonstrated true Texan spirit. We will give this award to at least one student each year, but we hope to raise enough funds to give multiple awards. We are able to do this through generous contributions from the members of the class of 2014, and through our partnership with the wonderful Coastal Bend Community Foundation.

Eligibility:

All applicants must be graduating seniors at W.B. Ray High School. Applicants will be judged based on grades, extracurricular and community involvement, letters of recommendation, global citizenship, and demonstrated potential to utilize their education to improve not only their lives, but the world around them. Applicants must enroll in an accredited 2 year or 4 year University, in pursuit of either a Bachelor’s or Associate’s/Vocational degree immediately after graduation. There is no minimum GPA for this scholarship.
